Sukant Sharma is an MBA candidate at Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, and is working as an Intern with the Investments and Acquisitions team. He is responsible for assisting in constructing new financial models on numerous development projects, financial analysis and due diligence on acquisitions and dispositions and providing support for investor relations.
Sukant has over 5 years of experience working in the financial services industry. Prior to his MBA, Sukant worked in the Quant. Strategies team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as an Assistant Manager, where he was responsible for quantitative valuations of over-the-counter trades and derivatives hedging strategies to optimize risks in counterparty portfolios. Prior to that, he also worked as a derivatives trader in a global proprietary trading firm, Futures First, where he was trading agricultural commodities and oil & gas futures and options.
Sukant received his bachelor of engineering from Thapar University in India. He is a CFA Level III candidate.
